This 100% arabica coffee is from Rwanda. The high altitudes up to 1900 masl make a perfect location for the growth of good quality coffee.
This 100% Arabica coffee quality is generally good, although a peculiar grassy taste sometimes found in the coffee due to the extremely rich soil, abundant rainfall, strong sun, and quick growth. The coffee is still well-balanced and bright with citrus, apple notes, and hints of vanilla and cranberries.
This 100% arabica coffee is from small-scale growers in Rwanda. The high altitudes up to 1900 masl make a perfect location for the growth of good quality coffee. It is a fully washed mix of coffees from 40 washing stations and 35,000 farmers. Following pulping, the coffee is fermented for about 12 hours, and then washed through a flotation channel and graded according to density. To ensure that only the best coffees makes it into their lots, the coffee is hulled, graded and hand sorted at the Rwanda Trading Company in Kigali.
