This 100% arabica coffee bean is from one of Guatemala's most famous coffee regions Antigua,which is home to three volcanoes Acatenango,Agua,and Fuego. The rich volcanic soil and at an altitude of 1650 masl provide excellent growing conditions for the cherry.
About the coffee
Coffee from Guatemala is rated by many experts as one of the best growths in the world. It simply beautiful and one of our favourite. This medium roast coffee preserves the spectacular smokey flavour, chocolatey and sweet body, with notes of blackberries aroma.
The Coffee and The Volcanoes
The coffee plantation is in volcanic valleys surrounding Antigua, which is surrounded by three volcanoes: Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango. Rich volcanic soil provides excellent growing conditions at an altitude of 1650 m.a.s.l. Guatemala’s high altitudes, diverse microclimates, consistent rainfall patterns, and excellent cultivation and processing, make for a variety of distinctive types of Guatemalan Arabica coffees.
